Best, Peter A. LeDonne Director: Community and Cultural Affairs Last year we had to cancel Toying with Science. A lot of Bergen's youngsters were truly disappointed, but star, Garry (yeah, double "r"') Krinsky had sustained an injury and had to have major ankle surgery. Well, happily, this scientific genius is back in action and we couldn't be happier to be able to reschedule his engagement. Just in case you ever doubted that we listen to you, our beloved patrons, Country Music star Chuck Wicks is back in the saddle… well, the Ciccone anyway. I think literally everyone of the sold out audience members came up to me last season and said, "Please do it again." Okay and guess what, it will be even better. You loved the "Brew and Barbecue" pre-show reception and you loved Chuck's posse of great musicians and most of all you loved Chuck, who stayed in the lobby until the last autograph was signed and the last photo taken. So talented and so gracious and still on New York's NASH-FM. And did you know Chuck is now on the way to becoming a big TV star too? Come say, "Howdy" to the great Chuck Wicks. It's another jammed-packed season for Bergenstages, our student productions, under the brilliant guidance of Professor Jim Bumgardner. I must offer special thanks here to the, overworked but always smiling, people who make this all possible. Tom O'Neil and Mike La Pointe, who, with a crew of part-timers, take care of our vast technical requirements. On the phone, you are likely to be speaking with Susan Williams, who takes care of all ticketing and box office services or Joyce Becker, who makes sure all our artists have everything they need and she also coordinates sponsorships and educational initiatives. Please plan now for your time here with us and reserve your tickets early. Keep tabs on us online and by phone to hear about more special events coming to our campus. AS ALWAYS, I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU AT THE THEATRE. P E T E R A . L E D O N N E
